Tring Reservoirs

A late afternoon visit provided the following species of note:-
Wilstone Reservoir
Annoyingly very little seen as survey work was being conducted and involved an outboard motor cruising about flushing the waterfowl.
Marsworth Reservoir
Little Grebe (2), Red-crested Pochard (5 including 2 drake), Common Kestrel (1),
Eurasian Sparrowhawk (1), Water Rail (2), Common Kingfisher (1).
Disappointingly the roost of Corn Bunting didn't show and may have been put off by the strong windy conditions.
