Marsworth Reservoir, Tring

A later afternoon visit to Marsworth Res with Steve Carter in search of Bittern proved successful. Just before dusk a single Bittern alighted from the reeds briefly before disappearing back into the reeds. Earlier c80 Corn Bunting were observed flying in to roost in the reeds as nearby a Barn Owl hunted alone.
