A good friend, Geoff Lapworth has just notified me that there were 2 Slavonian Grebes at Broadwater Gravel Pit today. He viewed both and the Velvet Scoter this afternoon. I did originally think that there may have been 2 birds at the site as the one I was viewing this morning seemed to move from the middle of the lake to the margin unbelievably quickly, but I just could not find the 2 together!
Lets hope all 3 birds remain for a few more days at least.
