I decided to brave the wind and rain and headed off to Stockers Lake from Stockers Farm pumping station passing Bury Lake on route. Birds observed of interest as follows;
Stockers Farm
Lapwing (3 on flooded field), Mistle Thrush (2 on flooded field).
Stockers Lake
Kestrel (male taking refuge from the rain under the eaves of Stockers House), Goldeneye (2 male, 3 female),
Siskin (16).
Bury Lake
Red-crested Pochard (pair), Goldeneye (immature male).
