Maple Lodge evening update

A late afternoon/early evening visit produced the following species of interest:-
Greenshank (viewed from both rotunda and teal hide as it fed in the shallows), Water Rail (2 heard calling briefly in vicinity of rotunda hide), Kingfisher (1 from shell hide), Swift (5 over long hedge briefly), Ring-necked Parakeet (2), Reed Warbler (2 from sanctuary hide), Garden Warbler (1 feeding on elderberry in long hedge), Chiffchaff (4), Jay (2).
I could not find the Green Sandpiper this evening and yesterday's Cetti's Warbler hasn't shown at all today.
