An afternoon visit in wet, mild conditions provided the following species of interest;
Cormorant (1 fishing the clubhouse lake), Grey Heron (4), Little Egret (3 feeding among the shallows from teal hide), Teal (11 from long hedge hide), Shoveler Duck (3 from long hedge hide), Tufted Duck (female with 4 ducklings from sluice hide), Green Sandpiper (2 from teal hide), Common Tern (2 from teal hide), Kingfisher (1 from shell hide). At Lynsters Farm Greylag Goose (11) and Canada Goose (8) were busily feeding among the long grass.
